Salon buddies for @favoriteanalyst

It started about a few months ago. Loki needed to relax after making the mistake of spending his winter holidays with his 'family' (which ended in another spectacular fight with Odin that resulted in one broken window and a lost snow globe Loki has thrown through said broken window), but his normal esthetician was booked solid for the next year and couldn't fit him in outside of his own pre-scheduled appointments no matter how much money he offered to throw at her. Wanda was the best in the city, probably the whole country, so it made sense, but there's still the issue of Loki needing something to relieve his tension so he didn't strangle his paralegals. The thought crossed his mind of setting up a tindr profile for a quick fuck, but he isn't in law school anymore and that was just a disaster waiting to happen.

Wanda saves him from making a bad decision by texting him the information for another technician she helped train. She claims he's new, but very talented, which he figures will do in a pinch. The link she sent him takes him to a rather outdated looking webpage for the "TVA Salon and Spa", an older establishment that apparently started in the 50's as a barber shop, but recent made the jump to full salon under new management. Despite the clunky UI, he's able to schedule an appointment for a basic manicure the very next day with the young man Wanda had told him about.

Casey is a nice young man. Not anywhere as skilled as Wanda, but his nails come out looking acceptable with their basic black polish and the hand massage he gets to begin with is utterly divine. He doesn't go into detail about his family problems, but the other gets the gist that the holidays were strained and is more than willing to play the oh-so-important role of listening ear even if his platitudes do ring a little hollow.

When the appointment is over, Casey hands him a card for a free deep conditioning treatment or 30 minute shoulder massage.

"These are really just for family and friends," he explains, "but you really seem like you need something to help you relax." He thinks about declining, but decides it isn't polite and takes the card anyway before handing the young man a $400 tip.

The stern looking woman at the front desk gives him a serious look as Casey nearly passes out in the background. "I'm going to be checking those to make sure they're real."

"But of course, I would expect nothing less." His usual winning smile does nothing to lighten her glare as she rings him out. She asks if he wants to use the card to schedule something today. Why not? It's a charming establishment and he has some free time coming up.

The masseuse the card is good for, Bee, is apparently booked solid for the next month, but the stylist, Mobius, just had a cancellation in the following week that fit perfectly in his schedule.

That appointment was the beginning of the end for Loki.

So in he walks six months later, having ditched his normal high-end stylist for a middle-aged man who looks like he works in a cubicle rather than a up-and-coming salon. It isn't his normally scheduled appointment, but his cases have been crazy and Thor just left for his "journey of self-discovery" aka backpacking across Europe, so all of Odin's attention is now on his youngest.

Joy.

If Loki were the sentimental type, he'd think it a shame that the lobby area of a salon is more comfortable for him than his childhood home.

Loki steps under the large showerhead coming out of the ceiling as Mobius enters the shower. The space is big enough for the two of them to be in comfortably without feeling too big, even including a built in seat jutting from the wall opposite the taps.

"I don't know, you're doing pretty good so far," he says, placing his hands on Mobius's hips. He doesn't want to tug for fear of making the other slip on the wet floor, so Loki instead gently guides him forward under the spray as well and into another kiss.

"We'll see how long that lasts." Hopefully for a good long while. Hopefully forever. Kissing good. Cozy morning kissing in a hot shower good. And yes, he absolutely gets his fingers all up in that hair, all the better to pull Loki down to him and keep him there.

Loki practically purrs as Mobius threads his fingers through his hair, encouraging him to tilt his head to deepen the kiss. Eventually he pulls back and grabs a bottle of shampoo from the shower shelves.

"You've washed my hair plenty of times. Mind if I return the favor?"

"Mmm, I suppose it's only fair to let you. You should know what you're doing at any rate."

The scent of lavender and tee tree oil wafts with the steam as Loki squirts some shampoo into the palm of his hand. He uses the extra few inches he has on Mobius to his advantage as he gently massages the other's scalp. He is rather good at it, having realized long ago that the only way his own unruly hair would behave is if he learned how to treat it right. He works the shampoo for probably a little longer than is strictly needed before taking a step back so Mobius can come more fully under the spray.

"Go ahead and rinse out. Hope you like argan oil, it's the only conditioner I brought."

Mostly he just takes care of himself rather than let any of the other stylists do him up. So it's a pleasant sensation to have someone else running long and understanding fingers through his hair, along his scalp, taking the time and care. He hums an assent from under the shower head, running his own hands through to wash out the suds.

"I'm going to come out of this smelling like you. How do you feel about that?"

He hadn't actually thought about it, but the mention sends a pleasant tingle down his spine. Loki isn't a particularly possessive person when it comes to his partners, he can't be by virtue of the lifestyle he's chosen to lead, but the idea of other people getting close to Mobius and smelling Loki is a very very good one.

"I feel fantastic." He reaches forward to card his fingers through the silver hair, helping to get out some of the last suds. "How do you feel about it?"

"I think you're lucky I know how particular you are about your hair." Not necessarily an answer, but it isn't a negative. He leans out of the spray and into Loki's space. "And that you only get the best quality products. You want me to do yours nice and gentle with my magic hands?"

As a lawyer, the lack of an actual answer doesn't escape his notice. It's a bit worrying, but he brushes it aside. Many people, Loki included, are particular about smells and hygiene products so it's probably nothing personal.

"I would love nothing more. Need me to sit down?" It's not a rub, just an observation that it might be hard for Mobius to wash his hair from his angle.

"I am more used to doing it when someone's lower than me. Only this time has an added bonus of you being able to touch and kiss me the whole time." He guides Loki over to the seat and gets to work. But sees it a lot less like work this time.

Probably seems less like work because they're both naked and Loki can't keep his hands or mouth off of Mobius. He tries not to move his head too much, but he can't help but kiss and nip at his torso as he gently massages his head. Sitting on the built-in seat isn't really a good elevation for another blowjob, but Loki can and does reach down to fondle Mobius balls.

"Careful not to distract me, or I might mess something up." Entirely in jest, given, well. He doesn't have any scissors in this, and the worst he could do is pull too hard. Doesn't seem like that's really a risk with Loki. "Come on, loverboy, let's give you a rinse."

"Oh no, you might pull my hair." You know, that think that Loki definitely hates.

Loki stands back under the spray, both happy for the large shower head and bemoaning the lack of a detachable head that would have allowed him to stay where he was.

"Not sure if I can see you in the salon after this. Would hate to get hard at one of the sinks."

"Between a good pair of pants and the apron, no one would ever know. No one but me, anyway. And your secret is safe with me." Taller though Loki might be, he still will make sure to get his hands up in there to help the rinse.

And maybe pull. Yeah, there's a little tugging. "Then you'll just be distracted the rest of the day until I can see you again. Just terrible."

"I'd have to make sure to get a late appointment then." Loki closes his eyes and leans in to Mobius' hands. All the shampoo is definitely out now, but he doesn't make a move towards the conditioner. "You wouldn't leave me like that for long, would you?"

"Depends on how good a boy you've been," he says with a playful bob of his brows. "Maybe I'll decide you're just going to have to wait a while."

"And what would you consider being a 'good boy'? Not touching myself? Putting on something you picked out?"

"I don't know yet. Might change from day to day." He purses his lips and coaxes Loki back out from the spray. "I think there's a conversation we need to have at some point about some of the things we like and don't and what's...acceptable behavior. Seems like it's one for another time, though. Unless you really wanna have it while doing each others' hair."

Loki finally opens his eyes to gaze down at Mobius. "Yes, I...Well, I had wanted to have that conversation when we got back home. You're making it very difficult to wait."

He leans down to wrap his arms around Mobius and place a kiss on his neck. It isn't biting or heated in any way, just simple contact. "Are you sure you've never been a dom before? You seem to be falling into the role rather naturally."

"Still feels like at least a not-in-the-shower talk," he murmurs. At the very least, while Loki's a little bit more down on his level, he can start in on the conditioner.

"I guess I don't really know how to answer that. Like...I know what one is, but is there some kinda criteria I need to pass to say that I've been one?"

Loki hums his agreement and sits back down on the shower seat to allow Mobius better access to his head. He does his best to keep his arms around the other's waist, but will shift to simply resting his hands on his hips if the position proves too awkward.

"It's hard to say if it isn't in the specific environment of a scene, but the way you've been giving orders seems pretty dommy to me." Loki looks up at Mobius with a devious grin. "And trust me, I've had a lot of experience."

"Then yeah, I've been a dom before. Just have maybe never thought to call it that. Some people are into it, some aren't, I'm flexible. You're just so...hmmm, you look like someone who needs to let go of himself and be given some orders to focus on, sometimes. But also I just do it for fun. Not like some deep psychological thing."

"Contrary to popular belief, is isn't 'some deep pathological thing' for most people. Many just enjoy it for what it is." Loki knows his own tendencies likely come from his past and present, but the more he got to know people in the 'scene' the more he found he was in the minority.

"But you're right, this isn't exactly a shower conversation. We still have so much to clean," he says, reaching around Mobius to give his ass a good squeeze.

"You're not gonna be leaving new lipstick marks on me this time. Another time, though. In whatever colors you want." He's making sure this bitch is deeply conditioned, partly out of care for hair, partly out of dragging this out for fun to test Loki's patience.

"As usual, you're gonna have some beautiful hair when I'm all said and done with you. Everything else was already beautiful long before I came on the scene."

"The conditioner does need to set," Loki says, placing a few gentle kisses on Mobius' chest. "Perhaps I can leave a few more marks on you while we wait? Ones that will last a bit longer than lipstick."

Gentle kisses turn to light nips and sucking as Loki starts a mark just on the other's right pec.
