Salon buddies for @favoriteanalyst

It started about a few months ago. Loki needed to relax after making the mistake of spending his winter holidays with his 'family' (which ended in another spectacular fight with Odin that resulted in one broken window and a lost snow globe Loki has thrown through said broken window), but his normal esthetician was booked solid for the next year and couldn't fit him in outside of his own pre-scheduled appointments no matter how much money he offered to throw at her. Wanda was the best in the city, probably the whole country, so it made sense, but there's still the issue of Loki needing something to relieve his tension so he didn't strangle his paralegals. The thought crossed his mind of setting up a tindr profile for a quick fuck, but he isn't in law school anymore and that was just a disaster waiting to happen.



Wanda saves him from making a bad decision by texting him the information for another technician she helped train. She claims he's new, but very talented, which he figures will do in a pinch. The link she sent him takes him to a rather outdated looking webpage for the "TVA Salon and Spa", an older establishment that apparently started in the 50's as a barber shop, but recent made the jump to full salon under new management. Despite the clunky UI, he's able to schedule an appointment for a basic manicure the very next day with the young man Wanda had told him about.

Casey is a nice young man. Not anywhere as skilled as Wanda, but his nails come out looking acceptable with their basic black polish and the hand massage he gets to begin with is utterly divine. He doesn't go into detail about his family problems, but the other gets the gist that the holidays were strained and is more than willing to play the oh-so-important role of listening ear even if his platitudes do ring a little hollow.

When the appointment is over, Casey hands him a card for a free deep conditioning treatment or 30 minute shoulder massage.

"These are really just for family and friends," he explains, "but you really seem like you need something to help you relax." He thinks about declining, but decides it isn't polite and takes the card anyway before handing the young man a $400 tip.

The stern looking woman at the front desk gives him a serious look as Casey nearly passes out in the background. "I'm going to be checking those to make sure they're real."

"But of course, I would expect nothing less." His usual winning smile does nothing to lighten her glare as she rings him out. She asks if he wants to use the card to schedule something today. Why not? It's a charming establishment and he has some free time coming up.

The masseuse the card is good for, Bee, is apparently booked solid for the next month, but the stylist, Mobius, just had a cancellation in the following week that fit perfectly in his schedule.

That appointment was the beginning of the end for Loki.

So in he walks six months later, having ditched his normal high-end stylist for a middle-aged man who looks like he works in a cubicle rather than a up-and-coming salon. It isn't his normally scheduled appointment, but his cases have been crazy and Thor just left for his "journey of self-discovery" aka backpacking across Europe, so all of Odin's attention is now on his youngest.

Joy.

If Loki were the sentimental type, he'd think it a shame that the lobby area of a salon is more comfortable for him than his childhood home.

"A name can have many meanings." Loki holds out another fork full of cake. "Perhaps we are simply drawn to each other. Like it's fate." At the last second he pulls the fork back and directs the bite into his own mouth, smirking playfully.

He leans at the offer of cake--and pouts when it's pulled away. "You tease. Maybe the rest of this cheesecake is for me then." No, Loki will get more. In a second. "Fate, maybe, I doubt it. I think it's just...lucky happenstance that we crossed paths. Enough to feel like a twist of fate."

"Whatever it is, I'm glad it happened." Loki leans across the small table and places a quick kiss on Mobius' nose.

His smile is soft, grateful to have the company, finding Loki just cute in the moment. "Me too. It's a whirlwind, but a good whirlwind. And being around you is exciting. When was I ever gonna have paparazzi interested in me, huh?"

"I'm sure it would have happened eventually. Your roguish good looks couldn't go ignored forever." Loki offers him another bite, this time of cheesecake, and this time doesn't pull away.

He wraps his lips around the fork and lingers, letting a perhaps exaggerated enjoyment flutter across his face before slowly pulling back again with a delighted hum of approval.

"Is that what I've got, roguish looks."

Loki nods, watching Mobius carefully as he pulls back from the fork. He leans forwards again quickly, before Mobius can fully pull back, capturing his lips in a deep kiss.

And they both taste as sweet and sugary as their treats. He's not complaining, leaning into it.

"Mm, should we transition to the next part of the evening?"

"You mean second dessert?" Loki kisses him again before standing. "We should get first dessert in the minifridge first. I'd hate for it to go to waste."

"Unless you'd like me to eat it all off you, but then I'll probably be too full and sugar'd up for second dessert." And no one wants that. Better to help clean up. Maybe forego a decent breakfast for more sweets tomorrow morning... Hm, a possibility.

It's not long before Mobius is pressed up against Loki's back, arms around him, face tucked against the crook of his neck.

Food safely in the minifridge, Loki leans back into Mobius' embrace. One hand goes back to thread into the other's silver hair while the other rests atop the hands around his waist.

"So what sort of delicacies are on the menu tonight?"

"I feel like there's a joke I could make about you being the most expensive thing on the menu, but it might be stretching the metaphor," he chuckles against Loki's neck.

[cuttingremark]

"Probably." Loki starts walking towards the bed, pulling Mobius along with him. "I was hoping to compare that dildo to the real thing tonight, if that sounds like a good time to you."

"That sounds...good. That sounds real good. We'll work up to that." He nips at Loki's ear. "No spoiling your appetite by eating me all up first."

Loki shivers at the nip, letting out a groan. "But I love spoiling my appetite."

[favoriteanalyst]

"You are so easy to get going." He turns Loki around to face each other properly. "You gonna be loud enough for the whole floor to hear you again?" With a little shove to get Loki on that bed.

Loki falls back onto the bed in a sitting position without much force, looking up at Mobius through thick lashes. "If you want me to be. I'll make sure this entire hotel knows how good you make me feel."

"Only if that's actually how good you feel." He takes Loki's face in his hands, stroking along those cheekbones sharp as glass. "You don't have to fake anything for me. You don't have to exaggerate anything. You don't ever have to lie to me. Okay?"

"Darling, I never fake it." At least anymore. After someone told him he sounded like he was in a bad porno he learned that louder is not always better. Doesn't stop him from being loud, just from forcing it.

Loki places a hand over one of Mobius' covering his cheek and leans into it. "I know. Thank you."

Maybe he doesn't fake it now, but it still feels pertinent to say. This isn't a performance; no one is watching; nothing's getting judged or graded. Mobius could do with the self-reminder now and then, too.

A slow smile makes its way across his lips, and he leans in for a kiss. And keeps leaning, to force Loki back, as he starts to climb onto the bed overtop. Loki might get going fast, and he might like to escalate quickly, but hopefully he can appreciate a slower burn and take the time to savor everything.

Loki goes back easily, scooting up just a bit so his legs aren't completely dangling off the edge. As he moves he returns the kiss with passion, but not the same kind of fervent hunger as the shower that morning. He isn't use to going slow, but he's willing to let Mobius set the pace. At least for now.

That won't stop his hands from wandering down Mobius' sides and up under his shirt, though.

Good, hands are good. Loki's long fingers are one of the too innumerable to count features that are Mobius' favorites. When he gets his knees up on the bed, between Loki's legs, he slides a hand of his own along Loki's side, the other braced on the bed.

"You want me out of my clothes already?" he breathes between nips along Loki's jaw. "You're insatiable." Not a complaint.

"You love it," Loki says, humming with content at the gentle touches and love bites. Rather than trying to pull Mobius' sweater over his head, he settles for trailing his hands over his sides and back, pulling him closer and leaving faint scratches in their wake.

"Mmmmhmmm, I do, you got me." Did Mobius ever used to have such energy? Probably, when he was younger. So long as he can keep up with Loki well enough, it won't be a problem.

It feels good, the slide of hands, the subtle scratch of nails biting into his skin. Mobius works his way down Loki's throat, over adams apple, dipping his tongue down to the hollow. The hand on Loki slips down along him, to his hip, to thigh. "Just like you love slow and steady. Even if it drives you crazy. Maybe because of it."

"Very few have the patience to do 'slow and steady' with me." Loki groans and rolls his hips up, grinding their clothed dicks together. He can count on one hand the number of partners he's had who were able to resist his urge to make things fast and hard.

"I can be very convincing."
