Salon buddies for @favoriteanalyst

It started about a few months ago. Loki needed to relax after making the mistake of spending his winter holidays with his 'family' (which ended in another spectacular fight with Odin that resulted in one broken window and a lost snow globe Loki has thrown through said broken window), but his normal esthetician was booked solid for the next year and couldn't fit him in outside of his own pre-scheduled appointments no matter how much money he offered to throw at her. Wanda was the best in the city, probably the whole country, so it made sense, but there's still the issue of Loki needing something to relieve his tension so he didn't strangle his paralegals. The thought crossed his mind of setting up a tindr profile for a quick fuck, but he isn't in law school anymore and that was just a disaster waiting to happen.

Wanda saves him from making a bad decision by texting him the information for another technician she helped train. She claims he's new, but very talented, which he figures will do in a pinch. The link she sent him takes him to a rather outdated looking webpage for the "TVA Salon and Spa", an older establishment that apparently started in the 50's as a barber shop, but recent made the jump to full salon under new management. Despite the clunky UI, he's able to schedule an appointment for a basic manicure the very next day with the young man Wanda had told him about.

Casey is a nice young man. Not anywhere as skilled as Wanda, but his nails come out looking acceptable with their basic black polish and the hand massage he gets to begin with is utterly divine. He doesn't go into detail about his family problems, but the other gets the gist that the holidays were strained and is more than willing to play the oh-so-important role of listening ear even if his platitudes do ring a little hollow.

When the appointment is over, Casey hands him a card for a free deep conditioning treatment or 30 minute shoulder massage.

"These are really just for family and friends," he explains, "but you really seem like you need something to help you relax." He thinks about declining, but decides it isn't polite and takes the card anyway before handing the young man a $400 tip.

The stern looking woman at the front desk gives him a serious look as Casey nearly passes out in the background. "I'm going to be checking those to make sure they're real."

"But of course, I would expect nothing less." His usual winning smile does nothing to lighten her glare as she rings him out. She asks if he wants to use the card to schedule something today. Why not? It's a charming establishment and he has some free time coming up.

The masseuse the card is good for, Bee, is apparently booked solid for the next month, but the stylist, Mobius, just had a cancellation in the following week that fit perfectly in his schedule.

That appointment was the beginning of the end for Loki.

So in he walks six months later, having ditched his normal high-end stylist for a middle-aged man who looks like he works in a cubicle rather than a up-and-coming salon. It isn't his normally scheduled appointment, but his cases have been crazy and Thor just left for his "journey of self-discovery" aka backpacking across Europe, so all of Odin's attention is now on his youngest.

Joy.

If Loki were the sentimental type, he'd think it a shame that the lobby area of a salon is more comfortable for him than his childhood home.

Loki getting harder and threatening to ruin those panties is an even better look. He gives that delightful bulge a kiss before carefully working the fabric off.

They could always skip the bath and just get right to it, but what a waste of a drawn bath, then. He rises back to his feet, kissing Loki on the lips this time, before turning the water off. It smells great from the bath bomb, and he's ginger when he steps into the tub, hot but not scalding. "C'mere and sit against me. We'll soak a bit and then I'll hit up whatever tense spots you've got."

The panties were not restricting his dick that much, but the little relief he gets when Mobius pulls them down (along with that wonderful little kiss) is enough to make Loki groan. If Mobius were to suggest skipping the bath, Loki would be in complete agreement.

But Mobius doesn't suggest it, he sticks to the plan and gets in the bath. Despite how much Loki wants to get off right now, he was told to get into the tub. He steps in gingerly, careful to not displace the water too quickly, and settles in between his boyfriend's legs with a content sigh.

"You know, I can think of one spot that needs q bit of attention."

"I can't imagine where that must be," Mobius murmurs, getting his arms loosely around his boyfriend and kissing the nape of his neck around the braid.

He leans back comfortably and encourages Loki to do the same. Lets out a delightful hum of a moan for how nice it feels, even if his own week hasn't been overworked and overwrought.

"Is there anything else, on the list, off the list, anything you think I need to know? Like not leaving you alone when you're bound."

While Loki would obviously like those hands just a bit lower, this is pure bliss. The skin on skin contact, Mobius' steady breath causing his chest to rise and fall beneath him, the strong arms holding him close, everything about it makes the stress of the week melt away.

"Hm...I don't suppose you know about subspace, do you? It's a sort of natural high a sub can get where the body floods with endorphins. It's different for everyone, but generally pain tolerance goes up and everything gets a little hazy. I tend to have problems speaking when it hits."

"I've heard of the concept, but that's about it." His hands are gentle, soothing up and down Loki's torso, not touching where he needs, but touching in nice long strokes. Chest, ribs, waist, hips, thighs, back up again.

"What do I do when you're there?"

If it were physically possible, Loki would be purring. The soothing strokes up and down his body relaxing him more and more with each pass. He isn't as hard anymore thanks to his dropping heart rate, but the bliss is more than enough to make up for it.

"Just stay with me, watch for...it's hard to describe since I've never seen myself in that state, but I guess make sure I don't hurt myself? It's hard to tell my physical limits when I'm like that. Being bundled up helps when I start to come out of it."

"And coming out of it, that's about the time a dom take care, right, like--food, water, praise, some balm?" He presses a series of kisses along one of Loki's shoulders. "Sorry this evening is turning into a series of lessons."

"Yes, but that generally happens after a scene whether sub space happens or not."

Loki turns slightly to place a gentle kiss on the side of Mobius' head. "Don't worry about it, darling. It means a lot to me that you want to learn about this. I'm rather enjoying myself."

"I'll figure it out along the way. Is that something I'll need to do tonight? What with giving orders and you being my very good boy?"

Loki shivers at the praise. "I don't think so, but you seem to have a knack for getting unexpected responses from me."

"Mmm. We'll see where the night goes, then." His hands settle along Loki's sides, paired with some kisses to his neck.

"Anywhere besides your lovely dick that's just for me and me alone that you want touched?"

"It feels like my shoulders are more knot than muscle at this point. Neck as well." Mobius did say something earlier about a massage, and Loki has spent most of the week hunched over his computer and paper files for the case.

"Then I won't have you just hunch over like a gargoyle. Go kneel at the other end of the tub. Put your arms up along the edge and rest your head. And relax."

B's only given him a few pointers before, but it's enough to work with. When Loki's in place, Mobius sidles up behind him and brushes his hair out of the way. Cups some water in his hands to pour over neck and shoulders a few times. And then his fingers get to work, starting with long strokes up and down, from shoulder to neck and back again. And then presses into the meat of his shoulders, fingertips first, rubbing in mild circles, and then his thumbs in even tighter ones.

Loki does as he's told without protest, doing his best as he kneels to keep as much of his body under the warm water as possible. The first touch of fingers to his spine makes him shiver, then hum as the pressure increases.

He lets out a hiss as Mobius really digs into his shoulders, the deeps knot there refusing to untangle even as the muscle around them relaxes.

"That would be hauling around the boxes of files."

"I'll do what I can, but you might want to make an appointment. These hands were made for hair, after all." But he'll push and press and dig, and soothe and stroke and caress, all along his shoulders, and up into his neck.

"I will, don't worry," Loki says between grunts and groans of both pain and relief. Luckily it's the kind of pain he actually rather enjoys, like the deep rattle of a thick flogger. The rhythm is sporadic enough, though, that he doesn't get hazy from it.

"I still think you could consider a career change if you really wanted to."

"I think you're just saying nice things because I'm your boyfriend and I love you." Because he hasn't said it yet today. And it needs to be said.

He runs his hands down Loki's back, and then holds him around the front again, pulling him in close. "I think, when we're done here, I'll still give you orders, yeah. But I'm also going to give you choices. I'll have control, but you'll have control of some specifics. Mutual cooperation without leaning too heavy on either side."

Loki doesn't deny the allegation, only giving a non-committal hum. He is biased, but that doesn't matter right now. What matters is that Mobius just said that he loves Loki.

He stays quiet as he's embraced again. Though his muscles are loose, his mind races at the casual confession. It wasn't exactly the type of declaration that demanded to be returned. In fact, Mobius gives him the perfect out by talking again.

It will be said eventually, Loki thinks, but maybe not today. Saying it today feels like tempting fate too much.

"That sounds good to me."

It's said. It's out there.

And maybe it won't last. This has all felt so whirlwind and rushed, and yet, it's also felt right. And it's been a long time since he's felt like he could tell someone he loves them and it not be a lie, romantically. Maybe it'll end, maybe it'll be a disaster, but it won't change how he feels here and now. In his boyfriend's home, warm and casual and relaxed in a large bathtub, talking about sex but also comfort levels and communication.

If there wasn't any love, they wouldn't be boyfriends.

"If I get you off here in the tub, do you think you'll still be up for fun after?"

The voices in his head fall silent as he focuses on Mobius' question. Loki nods.

"Yes, I'll be up for whatever you give me." He sounds very sure, trusting that whatever it is, Mobius won't take it too far.

"Good. Because I want to touch you. I think that'll help you plenty to relax, too." His hands wander further down, to Loki's hips, not quite touching where he needs. Loosely. Because: "Turn around and face me. I want to kiss you, and I want you to be touching me, too."

"Yes, si-Mobius." Loki catches himself, the gentle commands having him respond on impulse. He turns around gently so as not to splash water onto the floor. His erection has flagged somewhat as he was soothed by the warm water and careful touches, but that shouldn't be a problem for long if the heat in his core is anything to go by.

"Where should I touch you?"

He lets Loki move, but doesn't keep far from him. Crowds into his space when he's resettled, hands rushing down between them. Gets close enough to kiss and doesn't. "Dealer's choice," he says, first. Then hums and rethinks it. "Anywhere you'd like," carefully, "except for here." A hand teases at Loki's soon to be not so flagging hardness. "The idea is for me to get you off, not the other way around. When I have you tonight," taking a firmer grasp and a long, languid stroke, "I want to be ready and aching for it so bad I can't possibly wait any longer.

Instructions given, he wraps his arms around his waist, allowing his fingers and nails to trail lightly up and down the wide expanse of his boyfriend's back. He gives a little gasp as Mobius starts teasing his quickly hardening dick, hip stuttering up in an aborted attempt to grind against his hand.

He feels that, all of that, and he dips into Loki's mouth at the gasp. Kissing him thoroughly, biting his lip on pulling back.

"You may," he says, because it all feels like a question. "You can scratch me, and you can move." If Loki wants to rut against him, he should feel free. It will not stop him from jerking him slow and steady, at least for now, his other hand firm along a thigh.
